We apologize for the slight delay in this message. The headquarters have been closed up until now because Sakurai-san, being the generous person that he is, gave all the campaign staff some free time to visit their families and loved ones. Such a sweetheart. Today he has returned to the office looking refreshed, motivated, and slightly chubbier –courtesy of grandma Sakurai.
However, his return also means that we're back to working under a tight schedule. And so are you.
We hope you're having a good time writing your assignment! And we can't wait for Valentine's Day!
Remember that if you have any questions, doubts, need someone to cheer you on, to beta, to discuss your plot, to *gasp* ask for an extension or to drop out, we're right here for you. Just e-mail Mr. Umbrella, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible ;P
That being said, we have something else to ask you. We promise it won't take much of your time to reply.
As you know, due to our current schedule, we won't be posting fics on Sakurai-san's birthday for this year. However, we still do want to do something on January 25!
Our team has some ideas about what to do:
1. The campaign staff (aka us) posts a fic. We might or might not steal some of your prompts for it. Who knows.
2. Show sneak peeks of YOUR fics. Participants would have to send us a short excerpt from their fics (anything between 100 - 500 words should work) and we'd post it. There would be no clues about who wrote what and who the recipient is, of course, to keep everything anonymous.
3. The staff plans a game where people write fics for Sakurai-san. Details would be released on the date itself though. The game would be open to everyone, whether they're participating in the exchange or not.
4. We do nothing and wait for Valentine's Day.
As usual, we prefer to count with your approval before proceeding with any of these options.
