Last week we shared with you a message about the situation at Sakurai-san's campaign's headquarters. Things have been looking up since then (Sakurai-san is no longer gobbling down cheesecake after cheesecake, something his stylist appreciates very much), especially after the poll's results came in this morning (thanks to everyone who took the time to read and vote!)
Sakurai-san sent us this picture after we informed him about the numbers:
We believe it's safe to say that he's very excited about the news. That or someone was grabbing his butt, we do not know. In any case, just this announcement got him in an splendid mood. He's even rehearsing his speech again!
So, without further ado...
It is the first time for our team to organize an event of this type! We hope that by doing this, we can give Sakurai-san the encouragement he needs to continue focusing both on his work as an Arashi member and on hisworld domination political ambitions.
On our last brainstorming session, we discussed some points which we want to recapitulate here:

Sign-ups: December 9th, 2016 - December 15th, 2016
Assignments sent by: December 18th, 2016
Deadline: February 7th, 2017. (For those requiring a beta-reader, the deadline is on January 31st, 2017)
Posting starts on: February 14th, 2017
Reveals: A week after the last fic has been posted.
As you can see, posting won't start on Sakurai-san's birthday. He did give us his approval to move it to Valentine's Day (he was a bit reluctant and embarrassed at first though). We understand that everyone is not on the same time zone, therefore we will be following GMT time for this exchange.

3. Fics must be at least 2000 words long.
4. Write in good, readable English.
5. Fics must be beta-read before being submitted. (If you need a beta, let us know as soon as possible so that we can help you!)
6. Include all html tags when submitting the fic.
7. Do not break anonymity or post your fic elsewhere before reveals.
8. Please do your best to write what your recipient requested!
9. Follow the schedule, and contact us if you need an extension/to drop out (preferably at least a week before the deadline).

Sho and Jun are in a relationship, but Sho treats him badly. After Jun has had enough and leaves him, Sho tries to win him back.
Nino is trying to pimp Sho out to his friends because he thinks he needs to get laid more often, but Sho is waiting for Nino to notice that it's him that he likes.
Sho owns a restaurant and Jun is the chef. Sho keeps trying to come up with new menu ideas which are instantly shot down. (Lots of unresolved sexual tension - preferably followed by lots of sex)
Sho is a skiing instructor with two new students, Jun and Nino. (ot3?)

- They met once accidentally. They met twice the next week. They met more often gradually and without them noticing it, they've grown a liking for each other. One of them had to start the conversation and Sho decided to do it.
- Jun is the guy of Sho's dream. He has anything Sho could ever want in a partner but a miscommunication in the past changed Jun from being friendly to being cold at him. Now it's up to Sho to make it up to Jun.
Sakumiya:
- They are always put in situations that force them to compete against each other for a mission. That one time, though, they realize that they have to work together in order to succeed the mission.
General Prompts:
- Mr. & Mrs. Smith
- 50 First Dates (of course Sho is Drew Barrymore)
- Talent and manager relationship. Both have crush on each other but both won't reciprocate on each other's actions.
- Fake marriage.
- Sho loves to travel. In one of his trip, he suddenly has to share a bed with a stranger. They hated it but ended up falling in love with the other.
- Sho loves to travel. In every place he went to, for some reason, he ended up meeting a kind stranger who would let him do another kind of adventure - in bed.

I prefer AU stories...romance, humor, slice of life, getting together, Arashi friendship. Not a lot of sadness or non-stop angst, nothing too dark. I’m not in the mood for suffering!!! Happy ending please!!! My favorite Sho is a happy and cheerful Sho. And he’s not necessarily a brainiac/intellectual just because he has a college degree (I have 2 degrees and I can’t do math LOL). I like a Sho who cares for his friends, loves to learn, is kind of awkward, likes attention, and doesn’t mind being the butt of jokes.
Some prompts:
-Work AU: bookshops, libraries, museums
-Office AU training camp/team building retreat—on a farm, on a boat, at an obstacle course
-Arashi runs a company that provides help and companionship for senior citizens; Sho falls for one of his co-workers

I would like to write (prompts/genres/kinks etc.): I can work with AU. I find it hard to write RL-based stories, but I can try if it fits the recipient’s request.
I would not like to write (prompts/genres/kinks etc.): Smut or anything of that kind. I suck at writing scenes like that.
Pairings you want in your fic: YAMA. YAAAAMAAAA. Please. Or if you could insert a tiny Sho/Okada, that would be great. (Arashi friendship on the side is also a BIG pluuuus)
Pairings you do not want: None, as long as the pairing I want is the center in the story, it’s perfectly fine for me.

- Just My Luck-ish AU: an incredibly unlucky person A sticks to person B because he gets only good luck that way; or something to do with unusual luck.

note: please don’t make the characters too perfect (esp. Sho!)—I want them flawed, occasionally embarrassing, sometimes idiots but will still get their happy ending. I want romance (it’s preferable if it’s not too much fluff) and fun stuff! Just a generally feel-good story. You could completely do anything outside of this list as long as this genre is in the story. :D

Regarding Sho, I love every part of him, but mostly the shape of his lips and his deep voice. Also, his (naked) back is gorgeous. I really like oblivious!Sho. I see him as a very sincere/ hard working/ tries his best kind of guy but he is unintentionally dense and uncaring towards others feelings. This is why I like Sakuraiba so much. I think Aiba is the only person with enough patience and selflessness to deal with Sho's incessant need to please everyone and conform.
The reason why I gave all that meta is because: I would like a fic where Sho is hurting his to be partner (Aiba fits this headcanon of mine better but pick whoever other than Jun) with his no homo oblivious bullshit. Kind of stringing them on. Accidental asshole!Sho LOL
slow Sakuraiba romance in cliche situations - HS AU, neighbours, falls in love online and knows each other in real life but doesn't know they are in love with each other, unhappily married neighbors start fucking then in love???
With Ohno some situation where Sho is nerdy/shy and the other brings them out of their shell. I see them as being long term BFFs before either of them realizes LOL. Can be HS AU or work buddies. Maybe they work as PA artist or gallery owner + artist and Sho is running around getting Ohno to do his work instead of fishing.
A future fic. Post Arashi break up???? (sorry to put this thought in your head but it happened to SMAP so be prepared ???). This can be serious or like total crack???? Like Sho is somehow the PM and then appoints all of Arashi as his cabinet/advisors/Secretary of X (I'm not sure of Japanese government structure). He appoints Ohno head of transportation and suddenly Ohno comes with a giant budget for a billion new harbors and Nino is kind of sort of starting a war cause he's bored (bonus points if you make fun of America).
Any crack fic following the above format with Sho as commander in chief and the rest making his life terrifying.
Pimp!Sho - like if you're good at writing smut. Go for it with like smutty goodness.

Yama 4. Sakumoto
Threesomes are also good if credible (if it’s crack, it doesn’t have to be credible, of course). My top OT3 is Sho/Aiba/Jun, followed by Sho/Aiba/Nino, and then all the others.
As a side-note, I’m a huge Aiba fan, so, even if he’s not in the main paring, I would love it if you could consider making him appear.
If you need to pick another ship for a side-pairing/past lover thing, go with whatever you like! My favourite non-Sho pairings from Arashi are Junba, Aimya and Juntoshi, if you need to know, but I’m quite fine with any Arashi/het or Arashi/OC ship as long as they don’t take up too much of the fic and the main pairing is still in the spotlight.

I love angst and romance, so if you want to make me happy, you can safely go with these two choices. I yearn for those fics that hold your heart in their claws and crush it bit by bit until you’re left on the floor crying (I’m such a DoM sometimes.)
But I’m also all for fluff (melt my heart with cuteness! <3), or sci-fi, or fantasy, or crack, or whatever. I like pretty much every genre, as long as the characters are not too OOC.
I have a soft spot for Sho and Jun as best friends, and for friendship in general.
A happy ending is preferred and very much appreciated, but not strictly required. Just go with your inspiration, I won’t stop you.

I'm generally up for romance and comedy. Everyday life aspects in any way is highly appreciated. Sometimes life is mundane and complicated--clue in the story from here. I like any AU involving travel--changing places (that means travel writing, magic travel, time travel, space travel, travel channel and many more endless possibilities), involving service (be it food service, web service, escort service, again, and many more endless possibilities), and involving television/film/camera work (game show, film production team, photography agency).
Random trope/universe that I enjoy: subtle magick in modern everyday universe, office life, police/detective, royal family, dull salarymen at day and kinky sex at night, and magical gender-bending and cross dressing (if that’s your thing). Or any other AU that is not in my not to write list that you enjoy writing, I am sure I'll enjoy it too. :D
I love Sho who is not only one sidedly cool and composed but also short-tempered; Sho who can be silly at times but is very exact in his work, Sho who is awkward and serious but also know how to have wild and crazy fun, or; Sho who works hard and party equally hard. I love Sho and food, Sho and his meticulous crazy planning, Sho and his big heart, Sho and his sinful lips, and Sho and his ass looking mighty fine even with the lamest sweatpants. I also love Jun’s ‘Sho-san’ and Sho’s ‘Satoshi-kun’.
Please include all Arashi in the fic; aside from the pairing of your choosing, even in a minimal role if you cannot include them in the plot. I also, this time, would prefer to have minimum cameos of other Johnny’s, Japanese actor/actress/talent/comedian. I specifically love unconventional fic or a piece that's not limiting its linear form/narrative to the usual. I do have soft spot for Steampunk if it's your thing. And, porn is totally more than okay; if you ever need a long and detailed kinks list, I'm an ask away.

- Dorama-crossover: Yoshimoto-sensei (Kazoku Game) meets Aoshi-sensei (Yowakutemo Katemasu) or Tamura Katsuhiro the law student (Tokujou Kabachi) meets Ariake Koichi (Ryusei no Kizuna) the swindler, something set in Yamada Taro universe is always nice too (I love Mimutaro).
- Work AU: Sho being a workaholic but overworked office worker (high position) who meets Nino/Ohno, a free lancer artist (Novelist? Mangaka? Musician?) every day at the train station or by passing him in a nearby park and is highly fascinated by him. One day Sho, offers the artist money in exchange for a date and he accepts
- Fantasy/Horror AU: something supernatural-like with the characters being supernatural creatures or hunting supernatural creatures or having some special powers would be interesting too. (I love series like Supernatural, Fringe or Ghost Whisperer for example)

Pairings you want to write: Please give me Sakuraiba – they are my OTP but I never get to write them in any Exchange. However, if that does not work out, I am willing to write Sakumiya or Sakumoto too.

I would like to write (prompts/genres/kinks etc.): Anything I write generally end up being angsty – heartbreaking or bittersweet stories, regardless of how much I intend for the stories to be fluffy or humorous to begin with. So I would be more comfortable writing that kind of stories. Also, I enjoy writing fantasy/supernatural/Sci-Fi/historical Aus. Canon stories are fun and entertaining for me too.
I would not like to write (prompts/genres/kinks etc.): A lot of explicit sex scenes (a little bit is okay). BDSM (I don’t have the skill to make it sexy). Underage/chibi Arashi. High school/College (unless Arashi are teachers or professors.) Host/Bartender. Arashi as brothers.
Pairings you want in your fic: Sakuraiba would be ideal. If you don’t want to write them as romantic, I would be content for them to be bff – you can even put Sho in romantic relationship with other member(s) and I would still be very happy. Just make Sakuraiba the center of the story. Another thing that would make me very happy is Sho/Aiba/Jun (OT3). This is the only combi I would love to read PWP. Or you can do other things with them. Whatever you want, really. However, if those two options cannot inspire you at all (T_T), Sakumiya or Sakumoto would be fine too (please see prompts for more info.)

What do you want to receive (situations/kinks/genres):
I LOVE fantasy/supernatural/Sci-Fi/historical stories, especially if they have angst elements. Drama and Angst are (by default) loved, especially for Sakuraiba. Action, adventure, suspense are great. Despite my “not want to write”, I enjoy reading fluff and crack stories. Slow burn slice of life is soothing and enjoyable as well.
If you decide to do Sakuraiba or Sho/Aiba/Jun combo, any story that roughly fits into the general theme above would probably make me cry a tear of joy already. But in case you want actual prompt (especially if you want to do Sakumiya or Sakumoto), here are something I would enjoy:
- Sho is a junior diplomat assigned to “babysit” a son of the ambassador who is visiting for a few days.
- Sho with a bit of OCD is totally adorable. It would be a total joy if you can do something like Mr. Monk, making the story a crack or hilarious one would be a +++++.
- Caring and Mother-Hen Sho in canon setting. Something like member has made a mistake and Sho is there for him.
- Sho in Space (!!!) – for some reason, I am really into Sho & Space recently.
- Star Trek AUs or related AUs - with Jun as Captain and Sho as First Officer, or Sho as Captain and Nino as First Officer, something along the line.
- Magical AUs

Absolutely No No: gender-switch, mpreg, incest, underage/chibi arashi, high school/college AU, terminal illness (best to avoid sickness altogether), Bartender or Hosts AU

-Ohno is a country bumpkin. Sho is a city boy. They fall in love. (I would loveeeee to see this one be written~)
-AU where Ohno has to look after Sho because he’s sick (nothing too bad, please! Just a cold or sth).
Sho/Okada (Bottom Sho please):
-Office AU where Sho is the new employee and Okada is his boss. Said boss likes to bother him every chance he gets.
-Non-AU fic where Okada has been trying to get Sho to date him ever since they were in KCE.
-AU where Sho and Okada live together in a very snowy place. Please make Okada force Sho to play on the snow/start a snow fight out of a sudden.
-Okada is a god assigned to look after Sho. Sho thinks he's a stalker.
-Sho’s parents just informed him of his arranged marriage. Okada is his fiancé. Sho hates the idea, but Okada is very into him and will do anything to seduce him. (I would loveeee to see this one be written if possible~)
